The tablet from Amazon is slated to come out sometime in late November of this year and will set you back $250, less than half the price of the iPad from Apple. But what we feel are the best things about the Kindle tablet is listed below.

1. Amazon Cloud Service – take your music with you via the 7 inch Kindle tablet that will carry Amazon services built in, including their new Music Cloud service which allows play and storage of thousands of songs.

2. Amazon Video Service – instant streaming of movies and TV shows via the Amazon video service makes the Kindle tablet a fun (and inexpensive) mobile device for just about anyone. Seamless integration is key here.

3. Amazon Kindle App – considered the best e-reading app on the market, theKindle app will come pre installed on the Kindle tablet which will make for fun ebook reading on the go.

4. Amazon Android App Store – the Android app store still pales in comparison to the Apple app store, however it has gained a lot of ground in the past year with the introduction of numerous Android-powered smart phones and now with the launch of the Kindle tablet, it’s about to blow up. Big time. Expect many smart, cool (and fun) Android apps in the weeks and  months after the release of the Kindle tablet.

5. Amazon Prime – there’s a rumor flying around that those who purchase the Kindle tablet will get FREE Prime membership from Amazon which allows free unlimited 2 day shipping on all purchases, plus free instant video streaming.

For the five reasons above and more we believe the Kindle tablet will be a HUGE hit come this Holiday season and next. We look forward to its November 2011 release and as soon as we come across pics, we will let you know.

5 Best Things About The Kindle Tablet — 2 Comments

  1. The worst things about this new Kindle will be the inferior battery life and readability compared to the e-ink Kindle. I hope Amazon continues to improve the e-ink Kindle by upgrading the display. They’ve got color e-ink screens with faster refresh rates now, and I’d love a Kindle with that new tech. An LCD based tablet should be marketed under a different name, IMO. Why not just call it something other than a Kindle?
